IDS division comprises of the following sub-divisions; in order to provide comprehensive learner support services which value, support and encourage learners to fulfil their full potential and promote life-long learning, personal growth and prosperity:

- Campus Life and Student Wellness
- Marketing, Communication & Partnerships
- Centre for Employment and Entrepreneurship Development
The Financial Aid sub-division promotes awareness and access to the college through various bursary schemes available at the college namely; the DHET FET College Bursary Scheme as well as CJC Bursary Scheme. The former is funded by the Department of Higher Education (DHET) while the latter is funded by the college. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid available in order to promote access to programmes offered at the college. The CJC Bursary funds are also accounted for as they are particularly allocated to those deserving students who enrolled for programmes that are not covered by DHET FET College Bursary Scheme.
This sub-division is responsible for supporting and enhancing academic performance. This is achieved by putting intervention measures in place where learning barriers are experienced as well as to ensure that all student precincts are fully equipped and operational. Intervention measures include among others; bridging the gap workshop for the new students, study skills workshop as well as organization of tutorials especially for subjects that seem to be challenging for the students.
The Campus Life sub-division promotes the health and well-being of students, addresses important aspects of governance and ensures vibrant student activities at the college.
This sub-division being responsible for promotion and branding of the college, is involved in exhibitions and expos that are arranged around Gauteng. It also took part in public and community outreach programmes as they arrange visits to various high schools in and around CJC’s campuses and sites …
CEED is engaged in the career development, job readiness and entrepreneurship programmes which are aimed at supporting the students as they enter the college, during their academic stay and as they exit after successful completion of their studies. It operates under two units namely; Employment and Entrepreneurship Units.
