Human Resources MANAGEMENT &  Development (HRM&D)

The Human Resources Management and Development Department of the College (HRM&D) is committed to accentuating and supporting the College’s mission –  of “building CJC ‘s organizational and human capacity to facilitate open access for employed and unemployed youth and adults to prepare them for opportunities in the labour market, Higher Education and community development enterprise, and by so doing providing high quality and responsive learning programmes and services by developing viable partnerships with government, business, educational and community sectors in and around the Johannesburg Metropolitan City – this coupled with the College’s vision of being:

A College of the first choice that provides excellent programmes and promotes life-long learning for personal growth and prosperity.


CJC has now established a Central HRM&D Division in order to coordinate all HRM&D matters from all the campuses and the sites effectively and efficiently. There have been problems in the management of appointment of staff without following the laid down procedures, poor management of time and attendance registers, leave, labour relations and the general HRM&D management and administration matters. By coordinating all these functions at the Central Administration Offices it is hoped that all those concerns would be addressed satisfactorily. The following HRM&D Officers are forming the core Central HRM&D Team.
